We are wrapping up the school year with our concerts! The students have worked so hard. 6-8 Grade ConcertDate: May 11th, 2017 Arrival Time: 5:30, Band Room Performance Time: 6:00, Auditorium Dress: White Tops, Black Pants/skirt, Black shoes/Black socks/hosiery Cost: $5/adults, $3/children Volunteers are needed to sit with students while the are not performing. 4-5 Concert Here are the details: Date: May 23rd, 2017 (Exhibit Night) Arrival Time: 6:30 Auditorium Performance: 7:00 pm Dress: 4th Grade students should wear dress clothes (no jeans or tennis shoes). 5th grade students will be given a t shirt for the "Cell Symphony." They should wear dress pants or a skirt (no jeans or tennis shoes). Volunteers will be needed to monitor students in the auditorium while they are not performing. We ask that families remain for the entire concert so that all ensembles can perform in front of a full crowd. Thank you for your support!

NPMM Showdown February 25th The 7th and 8th Grade Concert Band has been asked to play during the NPMM Showdown. The band will perform their pep band music in between other sets as well as pregame and halftime. This will be a required grade but students that attend will be excused from the practice log due on Monday, February 27th as well as receive a “Get out of a Practice Log Free” card that they cause use any Monday they want. Here are the details: Date: February 25th, 2017 Arrival: 5:45 in the gym Performing: 6:00-8:00 pm Dress: Blue Bolt Challenge Shirt + jeans, shorts, or slacks Materials: instrument, lyre, bottle of water Dismissal: after halftime Concert Festival - March The 7th and 8th Grade Concert Band as well as the 6th Grade Concert Band will participate in the Concert Festival at UTC. The date will be either March 15th or 16th. We have requested for the 15th because of testing. Volunteers will be needed for chaperones. Please contact Mrs. McKee if you are interested. General Information: Practice Logs are due Mondays for A day students and Tuesdays for B Day students. They are required for 6-8 but extra credit for 4-5.
